Instance types
An instance type sets a VM's vCPUs and memory. vCPUs are shared with other VMs (up to two vCPUs per physical CPU thread), as on most clouds' standard plans. Disk is separate: you choose the boot disk size and add volumes as you need. For prices, seetebibhost.com/pricing or run tebib price list.
b1: burstable
Shared vCPUs for light or spiky workloads: websites, small APIs, development machines, bastions.
| Name | vCPUs | Memory |
|---|---|---|
b1.nano | 1 | 512 MiB |
b1.micro | 1 | 1 GiB |
b1.small | 1 | 2 GiB |
b1.medium | 2 | 4 GiB |
b1.large | 2 | 8 GiB |
g1: general purpose
Shared vCPUs with 4 GiB of memory per vCPU, for steady workloads and databases.
| Name | vCPUs | Memory |
|---|---|---|
g1.large | 2 | 8 GiB |
g1.xlarge | 4 | 16 GiB |
g1.2xlarge | 8 | 32 GiB |
